Monk’s cloth is a traditional punch needle fabric, designed specifically for punch needle work.
It works with larger punch needle tools, including the Amy Oxford needles and the largest size needle in the Lavor punch needle set.
Monks cloth is soft but durable, so if you make a mistake you can pull out the stitches, re-align the weave and carry on punching.
This particular monk’s cloth has 12 holes per inch and no printed guidelines, making it ideal if you’d like to leave some of the fabric visible in your finished piece.
Because this fabric has a loose weave the edges fray very easily so it's best to seal the edges with PVA glue or masking tape before you mount it in your embroidery hoop.
